Youth Empowerment and Education

Phase I of our center also includes day care services for infants, through age six, as well as an after school component for students through age 12. The after school component will consist of computer education programs to help students with homework. Students of all ages will be able to interact with the elderly, in an effort to allow the two groups to bridge generation gaps and learn wisdom one from another. This center will provide quality child care services to mothers and young parents who cannot afford the high cost of day care, at a reasonable cost, and at no cost if we locate a funding source or grant that will cover child care costs for the most needy.

We will provide a comprehensive course of study, which will develop the whole child, spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. Through planned activities, children will be challenged to use their imagination, solve problems, and develop language and cognitive skills. This day care facility will service children who are newborns, to age five, as well as provide an after school component to service children age five to 17 years of age.
